michelle + jeff | married!

I’m sure I’m not the only photographer who becomes a meteorologist in the days and hours leading up to a wedding. Michelle and Jeff’s South Carolina wedding was no exception. The forecast changed every time I checked and it seemed I got there just in time for the storm clouds to start rolling in. It would rain a little, then stop. Rain a little more, then stop. Michelle and her sisters and girlfriends peeked outside just about as frequently as I refreshed the weather page on my phone, hoping it would clear up for just long enough to have the ceremony out back at their s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g family home on Lake Keowee. And after a little bit of a delay, it did! And you know what else? After a few more pop up showers following the ceremony the clouds rolled out and a rainbow rolled in. Yes!

Despite the weather, this wedding seemed perfectly Michelle and Jeff and, with seersucker, custom koozies, low country boil, and fireworks, perfectly South Carolina. Congratulations to you both – I hope the future brings you many more rainbows and fireworks wherever you go together. =)

I love all these colors together!

These kids are TOO cute! Love these multi-colored lanterns.

Oh hello, rainbow!

Love this sweet moment.
