anna + jacob | married! | durham nc

I met Anna at UNC a few years ago when she signed up for the Gulf Coast disaster relief trip I was leading over spring break. To say she’s one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet is an understatement so when she contacted me about her wedding I was super excited to see her again!

This wedding has been a long time coming for Anna and Jacob. They met in high school and spent 4 long college years away from each other (Anna in North Carolina, Jacob in Florida). With so many of the trials and difficulties that married couples face already behind them in the 7+ years they’ve been together, they finally made it officially this summer with their family and friends from all over the country there to love and support them. It happened to be a nasty day (as in there was a hurricane making landfall on the NC coast) but it didn’t phase them and I couldn’t help but think it was so fitting for them and their story. Not even Mother Nature can put a damper on a love like this. πŸ™‚ Enjoy these highlights (oh and the sweetest mother-son dance EVER)!

I love this photo of all the parents waiting outside Rigsbee Hall. πŸ™‚

  1. Wow! The mother/son dance brought tears to my eyes. I also loved the seersucker suit the groom was wearing and am so jealous they had a donut tower as a cake!!!

  2. LOVE! What sweet photos! My favorite is of the bride and groom dancing (the first one with the focus on the beautiful bride).
    Always great photos, Bridget.

  3. sweet couple, beautiful capture of their day!!
